Day 01 : ISTANBUL
Upon arrival in
Istanbul, you will be met by a Golden Bay Tour representative
and transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 02
: ISTANBUL
Visit the legendary Blue
Mosque, named for the beautiful blue Iznik tiles that cover its
walls.
Then stroll around the historical Hippodrome where
chariot races were held. Continue to St. Sophia, originally a
Christian Basilica built by Constantine in the 4th century, then
converted to a mosque during the Ottoman Empire. Visit the
Suleymaniye Mosque, built in the 16th century, for Suleiman the
Magnificent; and Topkapi Palace, legendary residence of the Ottoman
Sultans. Lunch at a local restaurant. Our tour ends with the visit
of Grand Bazaar. Return to the hotel and overnight.
Day 03
: ISTANBUL
Visit the Spice Bazaar.
Departure for the Bosphorus Tour, visiting both Europe and Asia.
Lunch at a local seafood restaurant. Drive by coach via Bosphorus to
the fabulous Golden Horn. Visits of St.Salvatore in Chora, Pierre
Loti, and the Underground Cistern. Return to your hotel for
overnight.
Day
04 : ISTANBUL /
ADANA / ANTAKYA
After breakfast, early flight to
Adana. Arrival, transfer to Antakya. After lunch at a local
restaurant visit of the Museum of Hatay with its rich
collection of mosaics. Continue the visits with St. Peter's
Church. First cristians:Paul and Barnabas spent over a year
here building a strong Church. Dinner and overnight in
Antakya. |

Day 05
: ANTAKYA / TARSUS /
CAPPADOCIA
After breakfast, departure for Cappadocia via
Tarsus; birthplace of St.Paul and the meeting point of Cleopatra and
antonius. Visit to St.Paul's well, Sardanapulus Tomb and Cleopatra
Gate. Arrival to Cappadocia and visit to the underground cities used
by the early cristians hiding from Roman and Byzantine persecution.
Dinner and overnight.
Day 06
: CAPPADOCIA
Visit Göreme Valley a complex of rock chapels and churches
covered with lovely frescoes.
Continue to Zelve Valley,Avanos and
Uchisar. Lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at the
hotel.

Day 07 : CAPPADOCIA / KONYA
After
breakfast; visits of the rock churches in Cappadocia. Arrival
to Konya and lunch at a local restaurant. The afternoon is
dedicated to the visit of the Mouselium of Mevlana, world
fanoud philosopher and poet of the whirling dervishes. Dinner
and overnight. |
Day 08
: KONYA /
PAMUKKALE
After breakfast, departure for Pamukkale with a
stop in Egridir for lunch. Arrival and visit of the unique formation
of petrified calcium cliffs and stalactites:Hierapolis. Dinner and
overnight.
Day 09 : PAMUKKALE / EPHESUS /
IZMIR
After breakfast; drive to ancient city of Ephesus.
Visit Ephesus ruins, which is one of the largest and best excaveted
archeological sites in the world. It is the site of the Temple of
Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. St. Paul
lived here, preached and walked through its marble streets. Continue
to the 6th century - Basilica of St.John and House of Virgin Mary.
Lunch at a local restaurant. Dinner and overnight in
İzmir.
Day 10 :
DEPARTURE
You will
be transfered to the airport for your departure flight.
